Vanilla Ice Cream with Waffles drizzled in Salted Caramel $8.90. I had this twice and it’s still as good on the second time.  In fact I thought the portion is bigger. Their waffle is exceptionally crispy and yet the inside remain moist. I find caramel sauce quite sweet most of the time but not for Hatter’s salted caramel. There is a good balance between the sweet and salty taste that goes perfectly with the waffle. Read full review here: https://chinchaijiak.wordpress.com/2014/06/17/hatter-street-cafe-the-hipster-cafe-near-kovan-mrt/

It looks even more tempting after pouring the mango syrup over! The cake tasted heavenly with the mango, mousse and chocolate blending together in sweet harmony. Mixing the strawberries, coconut and basil oil also added texture and accompanying front and back notes to the dish. Aiya just go try it yourself to understand what I mean. The chai tea gave a rather musky spicy flavor to the palate, I’m not really a fan of chai tea but it paired rather well with the mango cake. Read full review here: http://julesofsingapore.com/2017/06/18/the-terminal-airbus-cafe-seletar-aerospace-park/

Something minor which I found curiously adorable was the hashtag/clover latte art, which was just.. a breath of fresh air from the normal heart/ leaf latte art. The entire brunch cost about twenty bucks I think, for food and a coffee, which is pretty average pricing for brunch, if a bit on the high side, but the way I see it – it comes with the added advantage of being able to plant yourself in a quiet cafe all afternoon without risking being thrown out when it gets busy. I mean, half the time we were in there, the staff were just lepak-ing outside, reinforcing their entirely chill attitude towards customers sitting around. Not bad. Not bad at all. Read full review here: http://jemmawei.com/2015/02/16/1911-mocha-mondays-the-coffee-shot/

Question: What’s the main objective of a first date? Our answer: To get to know the other party better. So what environment constitutes that intention? A pleasantly modest, quiet yet romantic space for both of you to feel at ease. And we think we found that perfect place for you. Knots Cafe & Living has a vibe likened to a mixture of those seemingly at Melbourne and Europe—ingeniously mixed-up industrial designs with a touch of natural earthiness. The other oh-so-suitable-for-a-quiet-first-date aspect is the comfortable distance between tables, meaning lowering your volume in fear of your neighbors hearing your somewhat awkward conversation is totally unnecessary. Read full review here: http://wheretoeat.com.sg/review/knots-cafe-living-first-date-happen

There are simply too many cafes for a small country like Singapore to be sustainable in its business, hence it is definitely welcoming to hear that Butter Studio will be revamping its menu with some new additions as well as tweaks to its existing menu. I understand from the owner that the café prepares all the ingredients and pastries are freshly prepared on the actual day, such as the homemade crab cake for the Neptune Royale as well as the tarts and cupcakes. We tried a mixture of wrap, sandwich and the must-have eggs dishes, and glad to also know that this is a halal certified café. Read full review here: https://therantingpanda.com/2015/05/19/food-review-butter-studiosweetness-overloaded-cafe-in-jalan-besar/

Keong Saik Bakery pays homage to the area with its name; a brief summary of the area’s history can be found on the walls of the cafe. The cafe is furnished in a nostalgic setting with wooden shelves and simple furniture with quaint designs; even the logo carries a slight feel of nostalgia as well. We made our visit on the day of their soft launch; they were serving up quite a variety of local-inspired cakes, French bread (e.g. croissants), local bakery-esque bread that are all baked in-house, as well as coffee and tea. The bread are placed in the self-service shelf located at the back of the store, while cakes are kept in a display chiller that faces the entrance of the shop. Read full review here: https://jiaksimipng.wordpress.com/2017/06/14/keong-saik-bakery-keong-saik-road/

A smooth capuccino ($5) with hints of chocolate is delicious. I add some shavings of gula melaka, which comes in a little bottle, to what is left of my coffee and the molasses flavour makes it better, even if it does horrify Mr Grover. Coffee is the main draw, but what would make people stay a while is the food, and there are some unusual offerings on the menu. One of them is Juicy Grilled Chilli Boneless Chicken With Caramelised Lemon ($25) from the lunch menu, available from noon to 6pm. Ex-banker turned cafe chain owner. First branch opened with a big thumbs-up from coffee lovers, with a second city-branch opened just last month at Income at Raffles building. tRP verdict on their new branch ain’t firmed up yet as we did our rounds during their $2 Latter offer in early Aug’14 and found their coffee disappointing. Both cups of coffees looked very pretty with coffee art. The skills of their in-house barista is definitely on mark. My order of flat white came in this pristine greyish-blue cup. The micro foam didn't reveal small bubbles (as badly prepared milk froth results) and stayed a complete layer. The coffee wasn't acidic and balanced with a hint of sweetness from the milk. This is my kind of good coffee. Read full review here: http://herpenandfork.blogspot.sg/2016/06/23-jumpin-cafe-at-tai-seng-review.html
