Wining and Dining in the House of Taste (HOT)
Singapore’s restaurant scene is far from slowing down, with unique palettes of food choices from bars, bistros, restaurants, cafes, and hole-in-the-walls. Everyone is keen to bring different cultures and cuisines to the local table, and I have to say, one sure stand out is the House of Taste. This is especially true on a weekday happy hour time with your colleagues turned friends.
House of Taste (HOT) along Market Street, which is very hard to miss since it’s right at the ground floor of CapitaGreen, is this cafe and bar that is perfect choice for a weekday night out hide out place in the middle of the Central Business District. This industrial themed high-ceiling nicely lit beaut offers small bites and fine drinks to keep you and your free wifi company. I found myself together with my Aussie-expat buddy in this specialty coffee, bakery, and after-work bar one-weekday pre-evening time, and it was the most awesome spot for that corporate outbreak we planned.
