Tao Dan Park: This City Green Park is Ho Chi Minh’s Premier Hang Out Park
Tao Dan Park in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam
A trip to Vietnam’s capital would not be
entirely complete without charging, quite literally, along the Tao Dan Park, one of the great
green parks in Saigon, Vietnam. The greeneries here could possibly be one of the
best landscaped parks in South East Asia. You would see kilometeres worth of
relaxing options, enough to keep you safe and sound throughout a quick city
break.
This park between Cach Mang Thang Tam Street and
Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street in Ho Chi Minh seems like undergoing an ongoing
landscaping and proper care, as the public park is so clean and tranquil. I had
a good early morning walk here, and I am surprised that Vietnam has this kind of place that is good
for enjoying a nonchalant day out. It’s 10 minutes walk North of Ban Thanh Market, and it gives an insight of the relaxation of the locals. Locals enjoy their "Tai Chi " and lots of other activities to observe. There are paved walkways, exercise stations and benches for a bit of people watching. Been to Tao Dan Park? When in HCMC, you should.
