Pinto Art Museum: World Class Art Gallery That's Proudly Filipino
Pinto Art Museum, Antipolo
The Pinto Art Museum in San
Roque, Antipolo, Rizal, Philippines
surprisingly offers one ineffable cultural experience comparable to world class
international museums. Now, if a foreigner, traveller, or a filipino is visiting
Metro Manila, one place that should be included in their schedule is to see the
Trip Advisor Center for Excellence
approved Pinto Art Museum. The P.A.M. journey and destination are Philippine
highlights that should be experienced, enjoyed, and learned from.
Located
inside the unassuming Grand Heights Subdivision, the Pinto Art Museum’s façade
is reminiscent of a European local house that’s Greek and Lisboa inspired –
simplistic yet striking. In fact, nothing much going on with the details of the
entrance, if you exclude the long queue of people. You wouldn’t have guessed
that it’s a special place of contemporary art,
unique architecture, and creative landscaping.
Once
inside, I can only hope that the artistic gallery experience here that’s unique
among other Filipino museums and galleries could be realized and reflected upon
by the locals. It’s quite extraordinary! The art scene ensnared with the
architecture and the all-encompassing ambiance is outstanding. For the very
first time, I am keen on sharing this to the rest of the world that ‘hey,
there’s one world-class museum’ in Metro Manila and no it’s no longer just in Intramuros.
Seeing six galleries, featuring visual arts of different materials, from eccentric photos, sculptures, scattered antique white bed frames, indigenous arts, local cafes, souvenir items, and a nice overlooking view of the nearby city. Visit here during weekdays to make you enjoy the place all to yourselves!
