It's right about time that we had the chance to participate in some classic American sport, one that is fun and equally distressing. Our workforce group has been ranting recently on how stressed out we were because of all things current. So, the least sporty of our troop recommended to try out baseball. Baseball – a very un-Asian sport. But yes, it's the best de-stressor, like boxing, but with a baseball bat.

It’s straightforward, and it takes a lot of eye and hand coordination to hit the ball really hard. A lot of times, we missed it (which managed to stress us out a bit, to be honest. Haha!) But overall, the activity has proven to be an effective way to release stress and sweat. This value-for-money activity is in an almost indoor yet open kind of setting (value for money = read: less than 15 bucks). It’s near an actual baseball field, so everyone gets a sense of how things are done in actual fact. There’s a machine that will spit out the balls, depending on speed and height configuration. Tip: hit it with your best shot. Always TRY. This particular weekend was the most de-stressed weekend here in Singapore history. Everyone was physically exhausted instead. Haha! It’s weekend again soon, do you guys have any recommendations on other de-stressing activities here in Singapore, or elsewhere for that matter?
