The Calton Hill in Scotland: Photographs Of Edinburgh’s Most Outstanding Panorama

The Calton Hill in Scotland
The Calton Hill is the most
gorgeous hill in central Edinburgh, Scotland, and is one
of the city’s prized UNESCO World Heritage Site. The hill is a stone’s throw away from the
Princes Street, and a few steps away from the Scottish Parliament and Holyrood
Palace. This is the most photographed place in Edinburgh for the very jaw-dropping reason: outstanding panoramic view of Edinburgh.

The Calton Hill is also the
venue of venues for a number of events throughout the Scottish year. The
largest of these is the Beltane Fire Festival held every 30th of
April, which is attended by a close to or oftentimes over 12,000 people.
Wouldn’t mind jumping in and rocking the hills of Calton with such view, yes? It’s
always a perfectly pleasant idea to just go and view a city from this vantage
point.

Edinburgh is said to have
been built on Seven Hills – Arthur’s Seat,
Castle Rock, Corstorphine Hill, Braids Hill, Blackford Hill, Craiglockhart
Hill, and Calton Hill – and among the seven, the surrealism of Calton Hills
topography seen with your own eyes is a sole experience that should not be
missed when visiting Edinburgh. Takes your breath away - sole experience for your soul,
yes.
