Bar at 13A Dempsey Road, a corner location, almost hidden in a fizz of floras
and greeneries. Looks a lot like an expensive garden, with indoor and outdoor
areas, all looking vibrant and dreamy. Doors open at 5:00 in the
evening, but better to visit around 9 to 10ish, that’s when the place gets
fully lit up by the chill-centric crowd, all having wines, champagnes, and
signature cocktails.
One thing that you’ll really like about this
place is the tangible idea of it having a
sense of being close to everything and yet away from it all. There’s a
sense of privacy and quietude that can only be evoked by their eye-catching
interiors, their signature cocktails, and the satisfying food fares. Plus points for the with-it crowd that the place
draws, not too tacky, not too shady – the crowd that will get you all snugged
up for 10 gazillion more rounds of food and drinks. Must try: Terrible Tyler’s
Threesome, Terrible Tyler’s Threesome, Apple Crumble.
It’s clearly a Monday-to-Sunday joint, for anyone who wants to be shipped into a place close to nature; it’s like hanging out in a really quaint and discreet park place somewhere in central Europe. You can never go wrong with a before and after bar, everything seems to be covered just right. 10 gazillion more rounds for everyone on the house! Recommended for: special occasions, family gatherings, buddy booze night, first eye ball dates, girls life group night out.
