Binging in buffets is the most emancipating thing
to do now, thanks to the holidays! In as much as I’d like to write about my
backlog of travel stuffs, I don’t mind forking in another buffet entry for
everyone’s consumption. Because as they say, to live is to eat, let’s eat this season away, yes?
Sniffing all the
flavors run and in out of your nostrils is good actually, but eating everything
is just absolute heaven. The Azur Restaurant at the Crowne
Plaza Hotel, Changi Airport is not only
award-winning when it comes to buffets, it also happens to be quite the food experience.
The
Crowne Plaza Hotel sits forty minutes away from the Singapore’s city center.
It’s beside the airport, located next to Terminal 3, Singapore Changi International
Airport. From the outisde, it looks really exclusive and all-inclusive – with a
clear extensive range of Asian and Western food choices to see, even at the
entrance of the restaurant. Lunch, brunch, and dinner, definitely all good
options.
It’s this huge
150-seater type of open space, where you can see the kitchen and chefs showing
off some cooking skills. It’s like a master chef TV series type of experience.
Fine looking ceramics, nice lighting, and many many many, have I mentioned many
food fares. Variety is the only option here. Indulgence and Fancy seem to have met here along time ago and decided
to stay here for good. Azur is indeed a special place. Must try: Fricassee of
King Prawn, Pistachio Crusted Rack of Lamb, Satay Panggang.
Visiting Crowne Plaza at Changi Airport may be far off from all the other happenings in Singapore, but it sure creates its own little happy happening experience on its own. With Azur Restaurant, that is. Buffet is officially a thing, thanks to Azur! The Azur Crowne Plaza Hotel buffet price starts at 60+ SGD, not bad at all. Recommended for: Company Christmas getogethers, fancier dates, extended family gatherings, comfort food festival.
