Revelry Café, Lorong Kilat
Waffles Specialty Café in Bukit Timah
After doing some serious music-rocking at The Eighth Note Music School, you should fancy some quick coffee break at one of the newest
cafes on the block: Revelry in Lorong Kilat. In the café culture world
of Singapore, Lorong Kilat is known for its famous Carpenter and Cook café that draws gazillion of Singaporean followers just to have
some cup of joe at this quaint coffee joint. Nowadays, some rebellious coffee
shop mustered some creative-courage to do serious coffee inspiration around
this side of the city.
Via the nearest bus stop, it takes about seven
minutes of walk. It’s just along the street full of Korean food fares, along
the other exceedingly popular food establishments among locals. Go here during weekend early afternoons, the time when you’ll see how much the
place is lit with local coffee rebels.
If you’re into spacious spaces, with nice
bright lighting, and have I mentioned spaces? Yes, this coffee shop has the
right kind of space for such neighborhood. Crisply sweet, deeply complex
mouthfeel. There’s a nice long, resonant finish to the coffee here, add some
specialty waffles and your done for the day. A bag full of cafes are opening in Singapore every nanosecond, and it’s starting to get a little too confusing where to go to next. Revelry is one of those recent new café additions, clearly worth the visit, clearly worth the re-visit. Ask the locals and some expat visitors you find in this place, so you’ll know you found a keeper.
