This Is Where You Socialize: Lumbini Park in Hyderabad, India
Indians
are one of the most social beings I’ve ever encountered. Here in Singapore, if you
visit Little
India, or even check out the parks and events areas around this city, you
will see an abundance of aromas from their food or their happiness. They always
manage to find time to talk to each other for long periods of time and hangout,
chill, and maximize time like there’s nothing else in the world that concerns
them.
Imagine
if you see such scene in their realm of reality: a community park in India. The
Lumbini
Children’s Park in Hyderabad is a recommendation to me by my Indian buddy,
who didn’t fail to give all the history and details needed about why Indians
are so sociable. This place is the best example of their openness and
friendliness. The Lumbini Park
is good for animal parties, photo fanatics, nature lovers, and adventure
seekers. It's a family fun park – which means it’s mostly families with kids,
but you can also see groups of yuppies and older kids hanging around and having
a good time.
From
boating facilities, laser
shows, fun-rides to wide-open spaces, and a spectacular view of the Hussain Sagar
Lake, I certainly didn’t need any more statistics about Indian socials.
Haha! Now if you’re the type who’d like to experience the current day-to-day
culture of India, a visit to the Lumbini Park is a must go.
