Korea Travel Photo Essay: Where are the Cherry Blossoms in Seoul Now?

Where are the Cherry Blossoms in Seoul Now?
It’s not there, yet, most probably. Have you heard about Cherry Blossoms? The best cherry blossoms in Asia that I’ve seen would are in Japan and in South Korea. Some countries have it, but compared to the magnitude and effervescence of the ones in JP and KR, these are better - like wildfire of colors! If in Europe, it's all about classic trees and postcard backdrops, in Asia, it's this.
In Japan, the cherry blossom or sakura is Japan's unofficial national flower. The Japanese celebrate it during Hanami, which is the cherry blossom viewing. In KR, one of their travel highlights during the months of March to May is their Spring Flower Festival, which is to signal the changing of Season and the chasing of cherry blossoms.
These things aren’t always hanging around for everyone to see. They have transient timeslots every year, moving from March to April, to May, from two weeks, to one week, to even a few days. I almost missed the slot when I visited Seoul early this year! Good thing, some were still hanging around and eager to see me!
So to give some justice and homage to these glorious blossoming indigenous flowers, sharing with you some permanent viewing over here. No more manic Monday workweek ahead, cos there are far greater things in life to appreciate!
