In Photos: Seoul, South Korea Introduction
No kidding, it’s August already? And just like
that, everyone else in this tiny red dot is frantically chasing the rest of the
days. To complete all the things that needs to be done is not just a need here,
turns out it’s a priority! Next thing you know, we’re about to rip a
new calendar open. But before we do that, let me intro a new
travel series – let’s have some
soul… for Seoul. ClichĂ©, but true! Seoul, South Korea introduces a
distinctive kind of soul that’s very unique among the rest of the Asian
countries. I’ve visited Seoul last April for their celebrated Cherry Blossoms,
and the city introduced more items that weren’t on thy bucket list.
In Seoul, there’s no frantic chasing and prioritizing
too much, because everything is given generous amount of time to flourish on
its own. Just like its cherry blossoms, or its Koreanovelas, or its creative
sense of culture. I always tell people that I think South Korea as a
whole is ALMOST a laid-back version
of Japan and an upgraded version of China,
which makes everything about this country a pleasant place to be remembered. If it’s your first
time to visit Seoul and you’ve heard a lot of hype and expectation on what to
see, what to do, what to eat, or even what not to do, you might follow the rest
of the herd on what to expect. Let me break that typecast and give you a
different introduction to Seoul – here are photos of Seoul, South Korea
from a frantic-less and priority-zero kind of view, a different pace and
perspective to enjoy from. I've summarized the most simplistic and raw
day-to-day captures of Seoul and everything there is to be observed in this
soulful city.
