Finding the Grandest Place of All - Chowmahalla Palace

Finding the Grandest Place of All - Chowmahalla Palace
You
know how it feels when it’s so humid and hot at the same time, and it’s like
your gasping for dear old life? Yes, there are moments… or places rather, that
can induce such experience, and if you haven’t had one, then you probably are
too sheltered to experience third world adventures. Or even Africa or
near-equator type of city strolls, perhaps? It’s a different kind of travel
adrenaline rush and you would rarely see this as a bucket
list, but let me tell you a secret - it actually is a revelation to
experience such. But before trying out this one, why not try this instead…

First
off, side story. Was with my Indian buddy in India (which is
one of the hottest places on earth… next to fire (?), lava (?), and a burning
house (!)). There are places that are cold in India, but of course when the sun
is up and it’s summer, what can you expect. Dehydrated as I was because of the
intense humidity and heat, I felt like starting a trend: #FaintFest. But before
I had a chance to initiate such deed, this grandiose of a place appeared like
an oasis in a desert. I was symbolically out of breath, because of this beauty.

The
Chowmahalla
Palace is one
of the nicest and most extravagant palaces you’ll ever find here in Asia,
and there’s something unique and lingering about this royal place that’s not
found elsewhere. It’s modelled on Shah of
Iran's palace, and you can see the intense details in its clock tower,
council halls, and courtyards.

It’s
a rare find to have such kind of diamond in the rough here in Asia, so the Chowmahalla
Palace is indeed a must see. It’s like the Taj Mahal of Hyderabad,
and to experience a different kind of travel adrenaline rush that’s rarely on
any bucket list is worth being a part of.
