Like a Local: Night Out in Rome

A Regular Friday Night Out in Rome
There are always pros and cons in being a first timer in a completely
new city, whether it’s a local city in your place or in a local city in a
new country. But no matter what the pros and cons are, there are just those
times that even if you want to be surprised and get excited because you’re in a
new city, you just want to feel regular. You know - blend in, act like a local,
be like a local.

And for us, it was in Rome.
Unfortunately? No, fortunately it’s in Rome.
We went out during the wee hours of the night for a “regular” Friday Night out in Rome even if we were obviously not from around. Rome accepted us with a wide reaching and spine-crushing squeeze. Everywhere we darted, locals with happy smiles greeted us, resto bartenders invited us, and we were enticed by the good smell of food and happy commotions in every street corner. A Friday night out in Rome is one of the best ideas you can do when in Italy, because the quality of atmosphere is just right – the people are not too loud nor too boring, the streets are not too party-filled but not too dangerous looking either, the foods are still tasty and the landmarks still rock the place.
