Marina at Keppel Bay
Marina at Keppel Bay
You got to be kidding me, it’s next to difficult to know that the Chinese New Year holiday is about to end in a couple of hours. Too much holidaying and relaxing on this side of the world. Way to go for the non-work life. In any case, the year of the Horse has begun and who wouldn’t want to gallop away to the rest of February with new stuffs to do. I sure won’t mind. Though, work stuffs have been exponential these past few weeks, just like last year. So having three-four days off is just heaven sent.
Lately, my thing has been re-exploring the chill side of stuffs. You know, by the book – by the café kind of tried and tested form of relaxation. Cafés shall always be my go-to daylight corner, but just for a slight change, I holidayed on this as well. Went on to a different corner instead. Devouring a book in front of a view as assertive and as articulate as the Marina at Keppel Bay highlights the imagination and message of the book even more. I was in a café at the docks of the Keppel Islands reading my second book for this year, with a view of international luxury yachts and sophisticated buildings, when I realized that my book wasn’t thick enough. Everything was about to end shortly, just like this quick Singapore holiday, but this sure seems heaven sent – and worth another try. Next time, might bring a tablet full of e-books and waste one whole summer at this place.
