Daily Links

Personal picks for today’s most interesting reads
from across the online vastness. Should fire up that grand imagination of yours. All
for the thirst for travel and adventure. Let’s do some traveling in spirit over
here. What’s with the daily links? Where it all started - read here.

I WANT TO TRAVEL FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE
Sometimes I think
back about my life before and I barely remember anything. It's like I didn't
live before. Once I started to travel, everything felt more intense. Every day
was a new adventure. I paid attention to details. I got lost. And addicted.
Addicted to this kind of lifestyle. I never wanted to go back to a daily
routine. Sitting in an office and doing some job from 9 to 5 seemed like the
most ridiculous thing on earth. What a waste of lifetime!

The End is Nigh: The Last Year of My Twenties
Of course, it’s not just the name. I don’t
travel exactly the same as I did when I started this blog. I’m slower now, I’m
less interested in backpacking and more interested in long term travel and food
and culture. I’ve still got plenty to say, but it’s not necessarily the same
stuff as when I started out. At the same time, traffic has never been higher,
so at least someone out there must be enjoying what I’m putting out there.

Why I want to tear up your Bucket List
By having a bucket list we are actually turning
down perfectly amazing places that we could visit. We are limiting ourselves to
only doing those activities or visiting those countries where our list sends
us.

Wish You Were Here
A postcard, on the other hand, is an act of
love. It is a physical manifestation of someone caring. And it’s a little time
capsule. It pleases me to think that someone was thinking of me at a moment
when I probably wasn’t even aware of it.
