Table Manners at Changi City Point

Hold that thought for a second - this is not the dos and don’ts list about table manners. This is THE place for it: Table Manners. It’s the most fitting place for a first meet-up (after a long wishful time of not seeing someone). The place just gives you that imaginary reset button, where all your ill-manners are erased from the face of the earth. All that’s left are good memories spent in and with Table Manners. It’s the gastro bar around Singapore’s East area worth checking out.

This is located around the strip of bars and restos just outside the Changi City Point Mall. From the Expo MRT Station, it’s a good seven minutes of walking and it’s easy to spot the place, because of all the people lining up. It’s packed during the evenings; best time to get here is before dinner time, so as to enjoy the privacy of ambiance and coziness of the place.

As the name suggests, this gastro bar is brimming with table manner ideas. From the creative concept broadcasted across its walls, down to the placemat designs, you surely won’t run out of awareness. The interiors and exteriors of this must-try restaurant are so sleek and mutual. From the coal and chocolate colored theme, down to the well-lit areas, the atmosphere exudes an accommodating spirit without being too informal.

You’ll find interesting choices from the mix of American, Cajun/Creole, Seafood, Western cuisine found here. The food servings are generally good for two not-so hungry people, and the prices are quite reasonable considering that they don’t peak outside the 30 SGD radius. Considering how this place can shape-shift from an after-office hang-out place, to an afternoon friendly get-together area, or a first date must-try, it sure is one of those restaurants in Singapore that’s worth trying more than once. It has this overall face value that you won’t get tired of, and it sure will interest different sets of people you’re with.
