Singapore Photo Essay: Business Trip in the Red Dot
Singapore Photo Essay: Business Trip in the Red Dot
It’s difficult, or rather challenging, to write regularly in an online space if you have a day job as hectic as mine. But hey, I’m not complaining, ‘cos there’s something about writing and photographing, and maybe even rambling, that’s actually compelling. Maybe for the sake of sounding cool, i'll leave it at "writing is uh, amazing". Okay too much nonsense, let's skip this and move to the photo essay. Haha.
Man, can this guy talk about anything else other than Singapore? But hey, with all honesty, this is one of the few things about my previous work life that struck a milestone in my fancy for traveling. Singapore – first OOC, and yes - this: first business trip. Not being biased and certainly not too passionate about this, but Singapore is categorically one of the best places in Asia to do a business trip (of course, living here longer is a different story). It’s not about the fancy weather, or the long-haul plane trips that make business trips cooler than any kind of travel, but immersion and understanding the whole purpose of it. Singapore can certainly teach people just that. I’d say I’ve learned so many things on a multi-layered scale - from challenges to intro-extroversion and work-nonwork travel - everything about the multiculturalism of Singapore works to people’s advantage. It’s far from perfect, but it sure is milk and honey on this aspect. So if you happen to get a chance to go here on a quick business trip, even less than a week or even a day, I'd say yes - suit yourself.
