Patar Beach in Bolinao - One of Philippine's Best Beaches
Been telling you that there are a lot of soon-to-be-really popular paradises in the Philippines. Take for example, the Patar Beach in Bolinao. Been to a couple of beaches and this is one of my personal favorites. Imagine postcards of perfect white sands, quiet shores, and nearly unpopulated place – sweet escape indeed.
How to get there? Via bus or private transportation. There is no direct flight going to Bolinao because the area is still, for the most part, very rural and still being developed. So, prepare your butts. You need to brace yourself in enduring the rugged roads, with humps and bumps, and people crossing the streets from time to time. Need to endure the quality of rural life along the way. Nothing ugly or depressing; just the reality amid this quality is a picture perfect beach waiting to be enjoyed!
Activities to try? As the Patar beach is not commercialized compared to other beaches, there isn’t much to do (read: undamaged budget). But in this case, it’s a good thing. People get to focus on total appreciation, relaxation, and beach bumming. Best for family vacations, groupies, lovers, and soloists looking for some quiet beach time. The beach is with powder caramel sand, pure and plenty! So let your imagination run freely. Rent a boat, have some coconut drinks, chill at the cabanas, or go sand castling! Or take a dip or walk along the shoreline and create footprints in the sand, while watching the quiet sunset. SOLACE - CHECK. SUNSET – CHECK. AWESOME – CHECK. Don’t forget to go further away from the beach to see and feel the mini shell-like sand near the rocks. It’s as if your feet are being exfoliated by earth itself!
Patar beach gives people another reason to be a fan of Philippine beaches and I cannot argue with them. I agree. Beaches nowadays are crowded and commercialized, harder to enjoy privacy, quiet time, and just all out beach bumming. But thankfully, Patar beach reveals happiness and relaxation you can still get from quality beach bumming mode. Be sure to hit Patar before it gets too popular.
