The Yeihui Geopark is where the rock party’s at. This is where you will be mesmerized by different mind-blowing rock formations known to mankind. You’ll see rocks formed as sea candies, as gingers, as mushrooms and camels. Forever favorites will have to be the Queen’s head, the fairy shoe, the Bee Hive, and the rest of the Yehliu coast, where the rest of the unassuming magnificent rocks lay bare.

Traveling to see this place is an adventure in itself. It’s found at the outskirts of Taipei, so you’ll first experience the transition and bursting life from cityscape to village-like venture. The town’s overall feel is like Australia - meets China - meets Singapore. A little busy, but not too much. A little homey and hospitable, but not too much. A little modern, but not too much. The place is imperfect but it’s just right: just the perfect mesh of an environment that makes the visit more enjoyable.
