Starbucks Victoria
Address: 470 Belleville St, Victoria, BC V8V 1W9, Canada
For me, the theme-song of the open road is the 80’s jingle “Man in motion”, from the movie, St. Elmos fire and Vancouver’s Expo 86. This was part of my personal soundtrack on a road trip across a big slice of Canada that year. For Winter, of StarbucksEverywhere.net, the theme of his open road goes way beyond a transitory one hit wonder from the eighties. lelem' at The Fort
Address: 23433 Mavis Ave, Langley City, BC V1M 3R5, Canada
Have you ever wanted to explore where it all began? Fort Langley is the birthplace of British Columbia, and with that comes a long history that is waiting to be explored. The Canadian National Historic Site is situated in the quaint village of Fort Langley up atop a hill overlooking the beautiful Fraser River. Although this is not the original fort, today’s fort offers a very good representation of what it would have been like to live in the area in the 1800’s. Inside the fort, you will find actors portraying pioneer life, demos of 19th-century technology, and you’ll even find the Lelem’ at the Fort café in one of the buildings. Fort Langley offers much more than your average day trip, however, as you can sleep over in a trader- themed oTENTik inside the fort walls! Also, be on the lookout for themed events and kid’s day camps. More information can be found at the Fort Langley National Historic Site Website. TAPshack • Coal Harbour
Address: 1199 W Cordova St, Vancouver, BC V6E 4R5, Canada
Before PuB NiGHT started, we ate some chicken wings at the Pint. During happy hour everyone gets free chicken wings when ordering a beer. When our stomach was filled, it was time to go to Tapshack. Tapshack is a really nice, cozy pub with a beautiful view of the mountains in North Vancouver. Our table was waiting for us outside on the heated patio in front of the pub. We sat down and tried some of the many different beers TAPshack has to offer. Or one of those really nice grapefruit drinks. Read more at: https://internexcanada.wordpress.com/tag/tapshack/
