Celebrating After Office Drinks at Singapore's LeVeL33

If there’s one extra nice about celebrating the festive season in a new country you’re currently living in, is that it gives you a reason to delight in the season to a whole new level. In this case, it calls for a LeVeL33 kind of celebratory level. This European Heritage stricken hotspot is offers a uniquely experiential penthouse dining extravaganza, not to mention, in the world’s highest urban craft brewery. It happens to be nestled in the Marina Blvd, which has, of course, the most universally stunning panoramic area in Singapore.

As I usher my first year in my new workplace, I am happily surprised to get summoned by my South African and European office friends, who wanted to unwind in a different kind of multi-cultural level; and by multi-cultural, it means: to invite all their friends from different races to come and have some non-work related drinks. And when you get to see, smile, and taste their freshly brewed craft beers, all of which are of true awesome taste, coupled with one of the best views of the Marina Bay area, everything about the whole non-work related drinks with culturally diverse people makes you want to make it a daily deliverable.

Ambiance-wise, behind that golden lit and comfortable sophistication, the cuisine and customer service are the show stoppers, really. The selection of cuisines, wines, and craft beers are all great favourites. From the Executive Chef James Tegerdine’s culinary adventurousness, the a la carte foods, and gourmet choices, are with modern interpretations of euro classics. The dishes are artfully put together that pleases both the eye and palate. Lots of events and happenings all at once. I cannot comprehend the pleasure!

Recommendation: Beer Tasting Paddle (0.1 litre taster of five LeveL33 Craft Brews), Kangaroo (Pain Seared Loin, Liquorice Pumpkin, Puree, Salt Baked Beet, Bush Leaf Dust, Blackberry Jus), Gnocchi (Slow braised shredded lamb shoulder, Potato Pasta, Pine Nut, Cranberry, Aged Goat Cheese, Sage, Rossini jus), Iberico (Indian Pale Ale Brined Cutlet, Black Garlic, Caramelized Fennel, Jamon Crumb, Kai-lan, Split Malt Oil Cream), Beehive (Chocolate ‘Flight’, Forest Honey, Rosemary Ice Cream, Lavander Mousse, Cinnamon Pastry), Edible Beer Paddle (Chef’s Selection of Iced Beer Creations).

Anything under the culturally curious sun, we have covered as our small talk topics – from politics, to travel, to peculiarly funny topics like history and Singapore’s overall greatness as a country – this place definitely brings 33 times more ideas for your celebrations and conversations. Not only did this craft-brewery restaurant and lounge allow us to laugh a little louder and chat a little longer than usual, it gave that extra 133% level of customer satisfaction that you would want to enjoy.
