Easy Photo Si Phraya Pier Lineup

Going back to where I left things off with this little one. Yes, alongside the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok, Thailand, the Si Phraya Pier is one of the least-busiest ferry piers that I have seen in South East Asia. Or maybe because of the fact that it’s a holiday weekend and everyone else is flocking the more touristy places like the Wat Pho, Wat Arun, and Wat Chatujak Market?

Nonetheless, I found myself roaming around this area, as it is near our hotel. It’s also just a stone’s throw away from the Grand Millennium Hilton hotel. Interesting enough, I found out that there are a lot of high end antique shopping places, heritage buildings, a riverside Catholic Church, and old European style shop houses. Not to mention, great local restaurants abound - all of which can be reached by foot. If you are looking for a different kind of DIY sight-see in Bangkok, one that is not too mainstream, but not too off beaten as well, this route around the Si Phraya Pier is a good choice for a weekend wandering. This specially holds true if you got extra time to spare in Bangkok, and you just want to do some leisure exploration around this thriving city.
