Skiddoo: Here’s Where To Quickly Find Your Next Stand-Out Travel Splurge

A decade too late, but I’m hooked with the whole
start-up search. To all those who proclaim about their “travel itch”, forgive
me for using the lame term “start-up thirst”. A couple of posts ago, I may have
dragged you into a written chat with a start-up CEO. My
infatuation towards travel is starting to mutate and move into this universe.
One thing I’ve observed though is that start-ups
and stand-outs are two compliments that are so hard to find, much more to fuse
together. It’s hard to get impressed and happy about something, simply because
there are a whole lot of great ideas, products, and services out there. So,
it’s a shocker to me to find out that there’s this one online start-up that makes
you believe in that these two compliments can work side-by-side: Skiddoo.
Skiddoo Pte Ltd is this Online Travel Agency with
Headquarters in Sydney, Australia and has Singapore as the Regional Head-office
for Asia. Aha, another travel – yes, my
travel-itch-expertise. They’re these creative bunches whose life mission is
to make travel a no-brainer, by improving flight and hotel bookings – make it
cheap, easy, and fun - yes, the golden words in travel: CHEAP. EASY. FUN.
While I haven’t mentioned openly, you may have seen
the hints that I am a supporter of Skyscanner, Expedia, and Tripadvisor; these are my front
row resources when it comes to travel booking references. All-time reliable,
oldie but goodie. But, Skiddoo is this
newbie powerhouse knocking my socks off!
I like the user-friendliness of the whole site. The genius filtering you can do makes
things seamless, plus the loading time per page is so fast. It incorporates
all the things that I like in a travel-search site, such as search calendar, popular destination link
directory, and a price match promise.
You may think that my favor and liking towards
Skiddoo is because of the idea of wanting to join, to start, or to found a
start-up like this one. Well yes, you are probably right about that. Haha!
Who wouldn’t mind to get to know more about
Skiddoo’s Singapore launch, which happened just last September 1st? Yes, nice
right. You may have probably spotted Skiddoo marks in city-wide buses across
Singapore, MRTs, walls, and other local blogs. Be sure to check out the site and maybe get a
chance on the booking discounts, free tickets to Paris, and other stand-out
stuff. If you’re a blogger, you might even win a free flight for 2 to Bali,
Indonesia. Yes, that’s what I call
start-up stand-out.
