Scotland on Foot: Walking in and Around Edinburgh

Scotland on Foot: Walking in and Around Edinburgh
For the past few
years, I have been living in Singapore like a city caveman. There’s too much
modernism about this city that makes me think that it’s applicable to all
cities out there. This has been my cave, and seeing Edinburgh, Scotland was like
seeing fire for the very first time!

Every day is a free
day of exploring the open space from the streets, corners, hills, lakes, and
top view. Being in Edinburgh, which is still one
of the most favorite cities, has given me much needed time to reflect and escape
the day-to-day routines that are so easy to get stuck in. I have taken many
photos of my adventures and I’m sharing a few of them with you in this walking
in and around post about Edinburgh.

It’s always good to
walk around in a city as striking as Scotland’s capital. Hope you enjoy them
and that they will encourage you to come visit this great city. It’s home to
the Scottish
Parliament and the seat of the monarchy in Scotland;
and it is the largest financial center in the UK after London. You can instantly
see the culture in the music, festivals, museums, libraries, and people around
this place. JK Rowling, you are right, this
place is favorite-worthy!
