Yard Bar & Kitchen – The Number One Party Venue in Cardiff, Wales
It’s an old brewery, a bar, a kitchen, and happens to be the best
hangout party place in Cardiff, Wales. It’s also a Trip Advisor 2014 Certificate of Excellence
Winner, and it really is everything that I would ever want to have in a bar
place, if I happen to be a billionaire and own one right now.
The Yard Bar &
Kitchen is the first thing that you’ll notice along the
famously busy Saint Mary Street. It’s at a corner street, with wide-reaching
signage and a lazy yet welcoming pull to it. It is part of the original Brains
Brewery, which has in fact been producing beer in Cardiff since 1713!
The insides and interiors of the pub grub is like a jack of all trades kind of texture, it looks like it can be all for anything – be it a Jam Jar for live music, a meeting room place for work and nonwork, a weekend family hangout place, a drinking place, and a party scene. They got function facilities too, and free wifi. It’s a bar scene minus the trashy-flashy hints.
The food are mostly of local ingredients, and home cooked. It’s a great
value for money because it’s reasonably priced versus the big servings too.
Nothing specifically Welsh food though, but I don’t mind at all because food
tastes good. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner sets, and you can easily
pair it up with their signature mocktails and cold brews. The Yard Bar & Kitchen has lots of fans in Cardiff, and I don’t wonder why so. It’s a good recommendation to test the waters of Cardiff’s food and resto scene – the waiters and people that frequent this restaurant are the friendliest, a good meeting place to make friends with locals and get to know the city through word of mouth.
