I think there will always be cynics and critics out
there whose major purpose in life is to notice all the minor details and make
it a BIG deal. Like how a font size 20 is better than 19, or like how a blue
jacket is better than black at night, or like how eating pies at night is
better than eating Chinese fast food! So random, so baloney. And look at me,
noticing how a cynic and critic should be. Lol.
The Common Man Coffee Roasters in Robertson Quay
is one of the few cafes in Singapore that has received an interesting mix of
reviews. And I like how these add up to the Common Man Coffee Roasters status –
it gives more hype to this top-notch, quality coffee-café hangout place.
This industrial-looking brunch bistro kind of café is
very woody and very easy to like. You can simply come in, have a seat and enjoy
the bouquet of coffee fumes and coffee talks from every table. A good crowd and
environment always sets everything straight and everything else always follows.
Just like the brunch food and how its well-brought-up, and the coffee choices and
how it gets highlighted. Must try: Organic
Eggs Benedict, Filtered Coffee.
The crowd of yuppies, both locals and expats, and all critics and cynics with varying degrees are frequenting this place. There’s so much to talk about this place and no matter how minor details get suddenly blown out into interesting proportions, the Common Man Coffee Roasters seem to receive more and more official visits. Recommended for: dates, gatherings, meet-ups, and alone times.
