Food Playground Singapore: Playing With Food Has Never Been This Good!

Food Playground Singapore: Playing With Food Has Never Been This Good!
Do you enjoy talking about
your work so much?
Well, I still don’t know how to answer this
correctly either.
But living an expat life, and being at the bottom of the corporate food
chain, I tend to mix work and life together, so much so that in many ways,
it seems to me like it’s just one and the same. #dontfeelsorryformeyet
But hey, don’t get me wrong, even if this work
stuff isn’t as sophisticated and as impressive as Mark Zuckerberg or doesn’t include me in the World’s
Youngest Billionaires list (yet), in many ways, it still is enjoyable
and something to look forward to. Like recently, we had this Team
Building event at the Food Playground.

Imagine how we exchanged our
hard hats and safety spectacles for knives and cooking pans. Imagine how we
threw away our analytical skills in exchange for some all-out cooking battle
skills.
HILARIOUS.

The Food
Playground is not the typical cooking school, with boring classes and
monochromatic kitchens. Here it was like being in a lighthearted
kitchen showroom, where everyone gets
to play a like a master chefs, learning Singapore’s food heritage and culture
through food and play.
The
team building part, which I think is the funniest, is the part when we get
to eat our own food creations.

Imagine how “play” is being
encouraged in preparing the food – like how kids do it? Sounds
nastily funny, don’t ask why. Tip: please
cut your nails before going to this event. We wouldn’t want any delicious dead
nails, sexy nail polish, and aggressive ingrowns on our menu, yes?

Plus points to Food
Playground, because you’ll really learn how to cook all these local food fares
that aren’t that common in hawker centers or restaurants. They’re true to their word – they found a way to build camaraderie as we created our own gourmet meals. A refreshing take on teambuilding events, yes. #MarkZuckerbergshouldtrythis
