When you get to visit Seoul, or if by any chance you are planning to visit, do not forget to spend a few hours in the Bukchon Traditional Hanok Village; now, it this area is used as a traditional culture center allowing people to experience the atmosphere of their Joseon Dynasty, which is part of their long laundry list of Korean Dynasties, dating back as far as 1800s.
This place is surrounded by Gyeongbokgung Palace, Changdeokgung Palace and Jongmyo Shrine, and is a beautiful area to check out some authentic old school Korean culture. The hanoks or traditional houses now operate as cultural centers, guesthouses for travelers, local restaurants, coffee shops, and teahouses.
