Quick Guide to Hanging Out at Quayside Isle

Sentosa is no longer all Merlion, Siloso, and Universal. There’s a rather new tot on this side of the island and it’s one of the most exclusive and solitary places that you would want to hang out. Especially if you’re into the booze-siesta kind of afternoon, while reveling with a view of yachts and broods strewn around the area. This is Singapore’s not so kept secret and it’s good that it’s out there to be discovered and enjoyed. Here’s a very quick guide on how to experience Sentosa’s Quayside Isle.

1. Be Ready for Maritime Leisure

Most people would find beach and sand the ultimate siesta place. It still is, but its ‘cousin’ is a good one too. Imagine harbor, bay front, sea side. Imagine Nautica commercial ads.  It’s like being in your own Nautica ad – you can hang out and rent yachts if you want too. The scene looks much like Keppel Bay, but better, cos there’s more space and restaurants to choose from.

2. Be Ready for Kid-friendly Places

In general, Singapore places are kid-friendly, but it doesn’t clearly show that way. That’s why Quayside Isle is different, because here you can see how strollers and kids are integrated into the whole scene. Restos have their own play areas, kids can roam around in bikes and rollerblades. Quayside Isle Preparatory School and Petpawroni, which is a pet styling salon and boutique that would entice any kid who’s into pets – yes, kid-friendly. What’s good is that even if it’s kid-friendly like that, you can still see aristocratic cleanliness of the isle.

3. Be Ready for Some Wine & Dine

Ahh, everyone’s calling. This is what makes Quayside Isle stand out. From Brussels Sprouts – Belgian Beer & Mussels, Grillado, Note di Sicilia, Paradiso Restaurant & Bar, to cafes like Kith café – the choices are prosperous and diverse. There are a lot of choices for expats, tourists, and anyone who prefers international flavors. What’s remarkable though is the amount of locals you can find here, all gracious and forthcoming to the wine and dine experience in Quayside Isle.
