Schiphol is by far one of the ultimate best café finds you’ll want
to try in any airport in Europe. It
has all the right rudiments that make up a good coffee place – chocolate,
coffee, quality, café experience – and to have it in an airport, which is the
representation of one’s place, dang it, all these people from Netherlands know what it really means to show some quality café culture. Only very few airports have outstanding
coffee shops that are worth bragging about, and without a doubt, the Amsterdam Airport is
one of them.
Amsterdam always has a lot of
stereotypes, and from
experience, traveling here actually breaks all of these – lots of defining
moments and cultural eye openers. And, who knew that there are good
chocolates in Amsterdam? We always know about the Swiss and the Belgians, but
never the Dutch. For them to have this kind of cheesy café that’s inspired
by pure chocolate goodness, you wouldn’t mind to spend hours here, or maybe
even won’t mind missing your plane, if you know you’ll be comforted by their
good stuff. You can get chocolate drinks, fondue, all kinds of chocolate cakes
- mousse and pastries, fruits dipped in chocolates, chocolate spreads, and of
course, chocolates and truffles, and hotchoc spoons! They’re all about satisfaction – from
ambiance, where you can experience an almost fine dining kind of coffee
lounging, to chocolate selections, where you can choose from so much heaven. All is irresistible. And yes, with an airport runway view that’s just in front
of you, while you sip some hot choco and tinker around your tablet, you just
know your chocolate café experience will never be the same again.
