Dutch Colony Coffee Co. in PasarBella

If by any chance I would want to start a coffee shop right here right now, it will most probably be something like the Dutch Colony Coffee Co. This exceedingly busy café in PasarBella is one of the most anticipated indulges you can ever find here. Though they hold the name Dutch on their belt, their coffee selections come from all over the world, and brewed in various different methods to satisfy the customer’s bean to cup experience. One’s café yearning will never be the same once it gets colonized by this one.

The most convenient way to get to the Grandstand is via a cab. There are neither any close MRT stations nor bus stops that will easily drop you off this place. Although the Turf Club Road is commercialized, the huge part of the area is not as busy as PasarBella. The best time to go here is during after lunch weekends, where you can just spend the rest of the day chilling and enjoying a cup of Dutch coffee and maybe walk around the rest of the place.

Despite the crowded place, long queue and busy counter, you can still smell the addicting faint aromas of coffee beans brewing and hot lattes being loomed. This is quite a feat actually, since the place is an open area, and there’s supposed to be no chance to have this kind of caffeine glimpse. The baristas here are the friendliest bunch, and would immediately chat with you as if you’re a regular. These two initial cafe attractions, combined with the impressive shabby yet homely European guise of the coffee shop, gives you an instant coffeehouse favorite.

This Dutch Colony Coffee Co. place is good for so many activities, from small gatherings, chill sessions, dates, and just having some good time with people, because it can transform into an artsy, classy, hidden, popular, and vintage persona depending on one’s coffee mood. Their signature quality coffees are good enough to transport you in a mood that’s totally on your turf and liking. Yeah, that’s right – I’m raising my Dutch colony cup to give a toast to you too.
