Blue Mist in Tanjong Pagar: Hassle-free After Office Hangout Place
Let’s quickly take a pause at our café, burgers, and travel stories over here and start a new blog post playlist. After a couple of years of exciting Singapore culture, I think it’s about time to share some new dibs on Singapore’s bustling nightlife. If you’re fairly new to the Singapore scene, then you probably have a no idea where to hang out at night, especially during after office weekday sessions. Are you eyeing some fine dining in Singapore, food delivery perhaps? Depends on how the weekday goes, but if all else fails - need not worry ‘cos there’s this one recommendation that’s not too grand nor too tacky, the Blue Mist Café Bistro in Tanjong Pagar Plaza.
From it’s nearest green line MRT station, it takes about less than five hundred steps to get to this spacious and al fresco dining bar. You certainly won’t get lost because it’s located just at a corner of Tanjong Pagar Plaza, a few meters in front of a pedestrian walkway. It’s that cozy ground floor people-filled place at this side of Tanjong Pagar.
This is one of the well-tried alfresco neighborhood kind of bar, which serves Western foods such as their ultra famous grilled chicken with black pepper sauce and their fish and chips. They have a little more swag ‘cos of the fact that they use IPAD when they take your orders. Awesome! The good asset about this night bar though is the unpretentious and spacious air it has. The chairs and sets are generously given, and the ambiance is as chillaxed as a tipsy feeling. No wonder there are so many expats and yuppie locals catching up and laughing around here for hours. There are so many great evening hangout places in Singapore, but the Blue Mist Café Bistro is worth the favorite because it’s very easy to integrate to this place. The place displays so much hassle-free ambiance, food, and booze that makes everything so easy to work with.
