Thailand Photo Essay: Phuket Downpour
A couple of months ago, instead of gracing the scorching sun in Dhaka
city, we decided to get toasted in Phuket.
It was one of those spontaneous trips. A result of some human miscalculation.
And by miscalculation, I mean, we forgot to get a travel visa for
Dhaka. Who’s the retard who forgot all about that? You may ask. Can you
see me raising my retarded right arm? Lol. Long complicated epic failure turned into one surprise short one,
we got our tickets less than ten hours before the flight, via our mobile
phones. Thank you Air Asia for being the savior to all budget retards, err, budget
travelers out here. We just scurried to unpack and repack for some sand and
shoreline action. Beach bumming should be good. Nothing beats stupidity but
spontaneity.
And maybe you've noticed the good thing here. Being in Thailand is always a
warm welcoming experience and it’s no different in Phuket. Likewise, Phuket is
just as amazing, whether the sun is up or the rain is down. The city spurts a
different kind of energy and hospitality, that can probably only be triggered
by this season of downpour.
