d’ Good Café in Holland Village – Blend and Brew The Way You Like It
Turns out, there’s another good cafe near our side of Singapore. d’ Good Café is one of those coffee houses that you would want to go back to again and again and again, for as long as you can. Seriously. It’s one of those few cafes out in this area of Singapore that is far from having a standoffish impression, even on an ordinary day. It’s cozy and homey; spending a whole lot of time here is “d’ good” choice, indeed.
I don’t know if it’s just an expat thing or if this area is really one of the better areas to be at here in Singapore, but I find myself going to the Holland Village more and more this year. I see a lot of expatriates around the area too, but locals are surging here and there. This café is very easy to go to. After alighting the Holland Village MRT Station (Circle Line), it’s a few stores beside the Starbucks Coffee Shop. It’s on the second floor, so look up for the d’ Good Café signage.
Two floor areas of good coffee story and history. d’ Good Café’s counter is one of the most charismatic setups you can ever find in Singapore. It’s well lighted, clean, and straightforward. The trinkets displayed are very personal and engaging to the people who visit this place, which is actually how they want to be perceived: building a brand new experience through giving each customer the preference they fancy.
Aside from the quality food and variety of coffee wins of this café, the best thing about D’ Good Café is the place itself. Okay, too biased since that was mentioned a while ago. But, seriously, the two floors of unadulterated gratification from every character of the floor. First floor is good, second floor is just without question. Plus, an el-fresco area that is overlooking the nearby neighborhood. D’ Good Café has that character of the next coffee habit place one would like to have.
