Give you a bit of history here: Clarke: came from Sir Andrew Clarke, Singapore's second Governor and Governor of the Straits Settlements, who played a key role in positioning Singapore as the main port for the trade. While the word Quay: means that it’s a wharf or reinforced bank where ships are loaded or unloaded. So what? This means that’s a haven for trade and exchanges. And today is all about trade and exchanges, via cool and contemporary clubs and restaurants for all genres. Just alight the Clarke Quay MRT station, that’s it!
