Hong Kong bursts with a larger-than-life atmosphere as soon as the city gets lit up at night. And probably, the ultimate way to experience this is via an open tour bus ride.

Side story: My friends and I discovered this by accident, actually. We were just so tired from the walks and runs that we’ve been doing. I guess that’s what you get when you visit a busy city; you get busier trying to discover everything about it. Good thing we gave up at the right place at the right time. Our modern carriage awaits: open top bus.

We sat nonchalantly at the back end of the deck. And so it began – our 3D larger than life cityscape review. The December cold breeze perfectly complimented the starry skies of Hong Kong. If you look down, you’ll see people from all walks of life, looking up as well, appreciating and smiling at the starry and fascinating cityscape situation.

Every bus turn, slow move, and yes even the bus stop were anticipated as it brought us beautiful city lights. You’d see pegs of blue, blinks of red, sparkles of green, and a whole lot of yellow and white. Strikingly lit posters of Louis Vitton ads, Uniqlo skyscrapers; and who’d forget the upbeat sounds of the streets. The city is so busy yet so inspiring. It’s like a modern version of an aurora borealis. AMAZING – a must try experience, for sure.

  1. The chinese are so lucky compare to the Filipinos. They are so greedy! Isn't it obvious that the Spratly's island belong to the Philippines...

  2. I still remember the first time I went to HKG, everywhere I look, it spells B-U-S-Y. It's one of a kind experience. Can't wait to go back.
